Inflicted Suicide As A Result of Abuse
It goes unrecognized but it exists. It exists on an extremely covert level. It happens behind the scenes without anyone even being aware of what the problem is; the real problem. No evidence of it is left behind and no-one has ever been convicted of it, yet in reality, what I will label “covert psychological murder” is very real and remains dangerous and unrecognized—virtually undiscovered.

Dr. Langon,Im going to guess you have already seen this. I find Medscapes turn about face on the topic interesting. Especially in light of the prior articles published highlighting the PHP problems of abuse, coersion, lack of oversight, conflicts of interests etc. This article is devoid of ANY coment about the physicians PHP involvement. The question is screaming to be asked. She mentions NOTHING about monitoring, evaluations, abstinence or Board involvement. The article is horribly lacking THE TRUTH and is misrepresenting the entire nightmare waiting on the other side for ANYONE in the health profession should they dare to seek assistance. Shame on you Medscape. The comment section is rich as usual. Enjoy. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/873954?src=wnl_tp10f_170223_mscpedit&uac=202864DV&impID=1295570
